Canes Arizona Refund Policy
Canes Arizona cannot offer refunds for participating in a Season or Tournaments because the money collected for Dues and Tournaments goes directly toward paying coaches for their time, field rentals, insurance equipment, tournament costs and other fixed costs. All of which are expenses that cannot be recouped after a player has registered for the program.
Dues: The business cannot offer refunds or cancellations of dues. When a player commits to a team, the player is committing to the entire season (Fall/Winter, Spring/Summer, etc.) as defined by the length of the program for which the player enrolled, and Canes Arizona cannot offer refunds or cancellation (even if an installment plan was offered). The business has made financial commitments to coaches for their time, field rentals, insurance equipment, tournament costs and other fixed costs. All of which are expenses that cannot be recouped after a player has registered for the program.
Replacing a player would be difficult once the season has started. The business evaluates dozens of players leading up to the start of each season. Through the process, a set number of players are extended invitations to join their respective teams and asked to make their financial commitment to their team for the duration of the season. All uninvited players are notified otherwise, allowing them to go join other teams. For this reason, it would be difficult to replace a committed player and therefore players must honor their financial commitment to the team through the end of the season.
Tournament Fees: The business cannot offer refunds or cancellations of dues. Each season the business extends tens of thousands of dollars to tournament organizers securing tournament spots for each team. The total cost of each team’s tournaments for the season is compiled, divided across the players on each team, and presented as a Tournament Fee invoice for the season. Players must pay the full Tournament Fee invoice for their team each season regardless of participation as the business doesn’t have the opportunity to go back to the other players and ask them to pay the difference caused by a player who chooses not to participate in a tournament or the balance of tournaments for the season.
